Portsmouth Football Club have announced the signing of striker Marko 'Marezi' Milovanović.
The Serbian arrives at Fratton Park on a 4-year deal and for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be the highest paid by Pompey since the Premier League days.
Milovanović, who goes by the name 'Marezi', is 22 years old and joins from Spanish second division side UD Almería. The move is subject to registrations being confirmed by FIFA, The FA, and the EFL.
In a club statement, Blues boss John Mousinho said: "We are delighted to strengthen our attacking options with the signing of Marko.
“He has the physical attributes required to compete in English football, but is also someone comfortable with the ball at his feet.
“His goal return in Portugal last season was impressive and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do for Pompey as we try to build on our past 2 campaigns in the Championship."
The forward spent last season on loan from Almería with Portuguese outfit Alverca, for whom he scored 10 goals in 32 appearances to earn an 11th place finish in the top-flight, finding the net at Moreirense on his debut.
'Marezi' kickstarted his career in his homeland with Belgrade-based side Partizan.
He becomes Portsmouth's 4th summer signing, following the captures of Odin Bailey, Eoin Kenny and Rocco Shein.
