Our roving reporter Darren Gamblen was near Clarence Pier as a Brittany ferry carrying around forty veterans left for Normandy, saluted by an escort of warships and other military vessels.

Express FM and The News were honoured to hear the stories of D-Day veteran Stan Ford who had also been meeting children and their families at the D-Day Story Museum in Southsea.
