Sunday, 9 April 2023 - 1 hour 9 minutes

Wa-hoo! Here's your next coin-up friendly, multi level instalment of our music focused spin-off 'Scoreheads' upon which, our very own Jon Brown & Sean Wilson hit the 2 Player button and shoot for the High Score board by speaking to the best of the best Composers behind the scenes of the Film, TV and Video Game music industry.

A show that celebrates that very same music and the creators of it by sitting down with the many maestro’s involved industry wide to hear their stories about making the notes that emote.

For this latest episode, Jon & Sean are reunited with the magnificent, multi award winning Film, TV and Video Game music Composer Brian Tyler, who has crafted powerful scores for projects over the years that include thrilling scores for films such as 'Frailty', 'The Expendables' trilogy, 'Iron Man 3', 'Thor: The Dark World', 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron', 'Crazy Rich Asians', 'Ready Or Not', 'Scream V' and 'Scream VI' and almost all of the films in 'The Fast and the Furious' series among many others.

On Television you'll hear his brilliant work in the hit Taylor Sheridan shows 'Yellowstone', '1883' and '1923' and he's a dab hand at a memorable video game score too with work on such huge IP's as the 'Assassins Creed' and 'Far Cry' franchises to boot.

He's no stranger to a memorable, iconic, theme either - evidenced in his contributions as the author of the NFL Sunday Countdown theme, the Formula 1 theme, the Marvel Studios theme from 2013 - 2016 and Universal Pictures 100th Anniversary theme (adapted from the work of the late, great Jerry Goldsmith).

Recently, when he's not scoring visual media or dropping beats, he's been been changing the game with his high concept, state of the art live show 'Are We Dreaming' and also enjoying success in Vegas with the phenomenal 'Awakening'.

Lately he's been bringing his A game to the World of Nintendo, as he returns to animation to score his finest work to date, the thrilling, uplifting and energetic and nostalgic score for 'The Super Mario Bros.' which debuts this week in cinemas Worldwide.

Sean and Jon spent over an hour with Brian discussing what he's been up to, the story behind his latest work on 'The Super Mario Bros,' and so much more...
