With his previous contract set to expire on July 1st, defender Zak Swanson has agreed terms on a new agreement to keep him at Portsmouth until 2028.
Having signed from Arsenal in the summer of 2022, Swanson has extended his stay at Fratton Park.
The 25-year-old has made 111 appearances for Pompey and will continue to wear the number 22 shirt in 2026/27.
Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho said in an official club statement: "I'm delighted that Zak has chosen to extend his time with the club for another couple of years.
"He has played a huge role in ensuring Championship survival the past 2 seasons and has impressed on both sides of the defence.
"Zak has really progressed as a player during the time I've been at the club and I'm looking forward to seeing that continue."
Swanson was 1 of 4 players offered new deals at the end of the 2025/26 campaign with Andre Dozzell the only player to reject the proposed extension, opting to a move to D.C. United instead.
Marlon Pack and Connor Ogilvie have also put pen-to-paper on new contracts at PO4.
