Defender Jordan Williams will play in League One for Blackpool during the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old right-back, who has also been deployed on many occasions on the left for Pompey, has made 53 appearances for the club since his summer 2024 arrival from Barnsley.
He was involved in the Barnsley side that lost to Portsmouth 3-2 at Fratton Park on April 17th, 2024, the night promotion was secured to the Championship for John Mousinho's men.
Williams' one and only goal in Pompey blue came last November in a 3-1 victory over Millwall on the South Coast - a remarkable solo effort hammered home in front of the Milton End.
Blues boss John Mousinho said: "It has been a pleasure working with Jordan over the past couple of seasons.
"He has played a key role in us maintaining our Championship status, but this move gives him an opportunity for more regular minutes at a good level and we don’t want to stand in the way of that."
Jordan Williams joins Toby Steward and Makenzie Kirk as Portsmouth players who have been sent out on loan to get gametime elsewhere for the upcoming new campaign.
Join Jake Smith on The Football Hour every Monday and Friday night (6-7pm) for Pompey discussion in the build-up to the new season.
