It's MarshyCast time again!
Whether you're firing up the BBQ, stuck in traffic, or just enjoying a bit of peace and quiet, your weekly fix of The MarshyCast is here – complete with brilliant guests, laughs, and a few unexpected tangents.
Don’t forget, you can also catch me live every weekday on Express FM and HGV1 Radio, and check out my other podcasts including Portsmouth People and the show with Casey Major Bunce aka @MajorMumHacks, all available via the Express FM website or wherever you get your podcasts. Right – let’s get into this week’s episode!
This week on The MarshyCast:
🎤 Comedian Paul McCaffrey is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe with a brand new show – but before that, he joined me to rant like the grumpy old men we clearly are becoming. From delivery drivers to kids who’ve never known the struggle of using a coat hanger as a TV aerial, we covered it all. We also chatted about his brilliant podcast work and what he's got planned for the future.
🔥 BBQ legends Sam & Shauna, the award-winning TV Pitmasters, are back with sizzling tips for summer. We talked about why BBQs shouldn't be saved just for sunny days, why pineapple deserves a spot on the grill, and what people get right (and very wrong) when cooking over flames.
🎸 And I caught up with indie rock band The Ariston, fresh from supporting The Lottery Winners and completing their first UK mini-tour. We discussed their sound, how the band formed, and what fans can expect when they hit the stage.
As always, thanks for listening – if you’ve made it to the end, you officially have the stamina of a superhero. Please like, share, and subscribe... because every click brings me a little closer to inner peace (or at least, a cup of tea).
