Port Solent set to entertain the kids all summer with its new Kids Club programme

Parents looking to entertain the kids this summer holiday can add Port Solent’s Kids Clubs to their list as it announces a host of new events throughout July and August.

The free events will take place on Tuesday and Thursdays throughout the summer holidays.

Port Solent’s Lisa Fowler said: “We’ve got a huge variety of entertainment to keep the kids busy this summer, everything from magic shows and craft activities, to birds of prey and bubble shows.”

The programme of events at Port Solent this summer are as follows:

Tuesday 27th July: Justin's Beach Party Disco

Come and celebrate the end of term with our beach party themed disco’s. Justin from Children’s Parties Portsmouth is your host for lots of fun and games. One hour disco sessions take place at 11am, 1pm & 3pm. 

Thursday 29th July: Silly Scott & The Creation Station

Lots of fun and laughter is guaranteed at the Silly Scott Magic shows. Shows start at 11am, 2.30 pm and 2pm. Why not also collect an Alien themed craft pack from the Creation station to create artwork that is out of this world?! From 11am – 4pm.

Tuesday 3rd August: Potty Pirate Show

Join Captain Crossbones, the potty pirate who will be entertaining with magic and interactive storytelling shows at 11am, 12.30, 2pm & 3pm. Why not add to the fun and come dressed as a pirate yourself?  

Thursday 5th August: Liberty Birds of Prey Shows

Join us and be wowed by amazing birds of prey and find out about the fantastic world of falconry from 11am. See these amazing creatures in action in a live flying show at 12pm & 3pm. 

Tuesday 10th August: Matthew Garrett Entertains

From Punch & Judy shows to magic and balloon modelling, Matthew Garrett will be offering a day of fantastic entertainment for all! Shows at 11am, 12.30, 2pm & 3pm. 

Thursday 12th August: Balloonatic & The Creation Station

Watch the Zany crew from Balloonatic make some amazing balloon creations at their madcap interactive show at 11am & 2pm and then join the Creation station for some bugs & beasties themed craft from 11am – 4pm. 

Tuesday 17th August: Silly Scott's Superhero Day!

Dress as your favourite superhero & join Silly Scott for his themed magic shows at 11am, 12.30 & 2pm. There may also be some special guest appearances on site so look out!

Thursday 19th August: Bubble Jay’s Bubble show.

Blow your children’s minds as our amazing bubbleologist creates some fantastic creations at our bubble shows. Bubble Jay’s shows will wow everyone with bubbles of all shapes and sizes. Join us at 11am, 12.30, 2pm & 3pm for lots of soapy fun! 

Tuesday 24th August: Professor Strange Show

Join Professor Strange for his loud and lively crazy interactive shows offering a colourful mix of magic, circus and illusion. As featured on Britain’s Got Talent in 2018. Shows start at 11am, 12.30, 2pm & 3pm so join him for lots of jaw dropping fun!

Thursday 26th August: Justin's Back to School Disco

Enjoy the last week of the school holidays at our back-to-school disco party with fun and games galore from Justin at Children’s parties Portsmouth. One-hour discos start at 11am, 1pm & 3pm.
