Portsmouth’s Express FM is delighted to announce that local listener Elaine has been drawn as the winner of A Grand In Your Hand, the station’s biggest-ever cash giveaway, walking away with £1,000 just in time for Christmas.
Elaine’s name was pulled out of the stocking live on Express Breakfast, and she answered the all-important phone call from presenter Ian James within five rings, sealing her win during a live on-air moment that had the whole city celebrating.
The competition, supported by The Queens Hotel Portsmouth, invited listeners to answer a daily question on air for the chance to enter the draw, giving the Express FM community multiple opportunities to take part in the festive giveaway.
