A volley from David Wheeler saw the blues progress into the semi finals of the EFL Trophy.

A better second half performance from Pompey though, they were lucky not to concede at one point. They snatched it at the death, a corner from Gareth Evans was met by QPR loanee David Wheeler, who fired Pompey into the semi finals of the EFL Trophy.
