Winger Sammy Silvera has today been recalled from his loan at Portsmouth by parent club Middlesbrough.
The 24-year-old immediately joins League One outfit Blackpool on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Silvera made just 11 appearances, predominantly from the bench, for Portsmouth this campaign and failed to register a single goal contribution.
A disappointing performance in a 3-0 defeat to Bristol City at Ashton Gate on December 29th was controversially met by a chorus of "Get him off" and "Send him back" from a section of the Blues supporters in attendance that day. This would prove to be the attacker's final appearance in a Pompey shirt.
