Hungarian midfielder Márk Kosznovsky arrives at Fratton Park on a 3-year deal.

The 23-year-old becomes the club's 3rd summer signing following the arrivals of Adrian Segečić and John Swift.

Kosznovsky signs for Portsmouth from Hungarian top flight outfit MTK Budapest for a fee that is undisclosed - He arrived in the country earlier in the week to complete his medical and sign his contract.

Since signing for the 23-time Hungarian champions in 2021 from Italian side Parma, Kosznovsky featured 49 times and scored 4 goals.

During that 4-year spell, he was also loaned out twice to the Hungarian second division (NB II), representing both Tiszakécske and Kozármisleny.

Following the announcement of Kosznovsky's arrival on the South Coast, Blues boss John Mousinho said: "We've brought in an exciting young player, who is very energetic and talented.

"He can do a bit of everything - being able to handle the ball and also be a bit more attacking to make an impact in the final third

"Mark is also a very powerful runner and we believe he can adapt well to playing in the Championship, so we're delighted to add him to our squad."

The midfielder has also represented his country at both the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 2019.

It is not yet confirmed which squad number Kosznovsky will take at Pompey.
