As part of our Express20 celebrations, we’re turning the spotlight on the people who are Portsmouth.

Over the last 20 years, this city has changed, grown and evolved - but what’s truly defined it are the individuals who’ve made a difference. The familiar faces. The quiet grafters. The champions of community spirit. The ones everybody knows.

Now, we’re looking to celebrate 20 Local Living Legends of Portsmouth.

We want to hear about:

• The people who’ve inspired others
• The community heroes who go above and beyond
• The personalities who’ve become part of the city’s identity
• The difference-makers in sport, music, business, charity, education and everyday life
• The unsung heroes who deserve the spotlight

They might be household names across the city - or simply the kind of person everyone in their neighbourhood knows and admires. What matters is the impact they’ve had on Portsmouth over the past two decades.

If they’ve shaped the spirit of the city since 2006, we want to hear their story.
