Welcome back to The MarshyCast! Yes, it’s been a few weeks, but we’ve been busy at Express FM, covering the incredible Victorious Festival. Over the last two weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing some amazing local bands. If you missed those episodes, you can catch them on the Express FM website. • I caught up with the brilliant John Kearns to discuss his new Sky Comedy special, The Varnishing Days. We dove into his experience on Taskmaster, why he was so eager to join the show, his thoughts on THAT Jermaine Jenas moment, and how to nail the perfect comedy special ending.

• Lastly, I had the pleasure of speaking with Cherie Hall from U&Dave about the Joke of the Year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and how winning this coveted title can catapult a comedian’s career.
