We talk about how both artists began their journeys, and how different their paths into the industry were, before finding themselves part of a movement that would define a generation.
From chart success to performing on Top of the Pops, they share what it was like to see their music explode across clubs, charts and countries.
We also explore why rave culture became so popular — and why, more than 30 years later, it’s finding a whole new audience.
That resurgence is being brought to life through The Originals Live tour, featuring some of the biggest names from the era, including Anita Doth (2 Unlimited), Evi Goffin (Lasgo) and DJ Slipmatt, as the tour heads across Europe, including a stop in Portsmouth.
