Portsmouth Creates, the driving force behind the event, has been working with Spark and Creatful to infuse the market with a touch of handmade charm.
The We Create Christmas Market on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December, is set to warm our festive spirits thanks to the collaborative efforts of community members, schools, and local organisations.
Pom poms, crafted with care, will adorn the market, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who attend.
Portsmouth Creates has also reached out to local schools to engage the children and young people in the holiday spirit. A hundred flags were recently delivered to the Flying Bull Academy reception class and nursery, igniting the creativity of young minds.
St Judes Primary School in and St Judes Church Nursery in Southsea have also joined the festive endeavour, receiving 60 and 40 bunting flags respectively, for their students to decorate with festive flair.
Post-market, the spirit of giving continues as the bunting and pom poms will find a new home in Portsmouth residential care homes, transforming spaces into festive wonderlands.
The Redwood School, in Cosham will be the recipients of the markets giant Christmas present boxes, helping to enhance their Santa's Grotto the following week.

The We Create Market takes place on Saturday, December 9th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, December 10th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Former Dorothy Perkins at Cascade Shopping Centre.
