Express FM announces major plans for Victorious Festival 2026

Express FM will be at Victorious Festival 2026

Portsmouth’s local radio station is taking Victorious Festival 2026 to the next level with a brand-new Express FM stage, live interviews, radio coverage and a host of digital content planned across the weekend.

Express FM is gearing up for Victorious Festival 2026 with an expanded presence at the heart of the festival, bringing Portsmouth’s local radio station even closer to the action across the Southsea seafront.

Festival-goers may already have spotted the Express FM Stage on the official Victorious Festival app. The brand-new stage will be at the Seaside Arena and will host a series of live interviews throughout the weekend, putting local artists, musicians and organisations in the spotlight.

Across Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, Express FM presenters will welcome guests to the stage for relaxed, live-to-the-audience interviews, with the conversations also recorded for use across the station’s radio, digital and podcast output. The line-up includes local artists and bands including Crystal Tides, Marley Blanford, Baby Said, Matt Hennessy, The Vagabonds, Mackenzie and more.

But the Express FM Stage is just one part of the station's Victorious weekend.

Every evening from 7pm to 9pm, Express FM will bring you a special two-hour Victorious Festival programme, packed with interviews, atmosphere and highlights from the day. The shows will be produced from the festival site, bringing listeners who aren't at Victorious right into the heart of the action.

Throughout each day, Express FM will also be capturing the sights, sounds and stories of Victorious for its social media platforms. Expect artist interviews, festival-goer reactions, challenges, behind-the-scenes moments, atmosphere from the site and plenty of Portsmouth personality - giving audiences at home a chance to experience the festival alongside the Express FM team.

A new Express FM mascot will be making its first major public appearance at Victorious, roaming the Seaside Arena, meeting festival-goers and providing plenty of opportunities for photographs and social media moments.

There will also be opportunities for visitors to get involved at the Express FM area, including the station's popular Spin the Wheel music challenge, where festival-goers can test their musical knowledge and compete for points.

The whole weekend is designed to showcase Victorious through a distinctly local lens - celebrating the festival itself while shining a light on Portsmouth's artists, organisations, people and culture.

Express FM's Victorious Festival coverage will run across Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026 with coverage on the radio, online and across the station's social media channels.
