Portsmouth FC Women head coach Jay Sadler sat down with Express FM's Jake Smith to talk about the season so far and Sunday's trip to Parkside.

Neither the Pompey men or women have ever played Hashtag United in a competitive fixture before but that will all change this weekend when the girls take on The Tag for matchday number 3 of their 2023/24 FA Women's National League - Southern Premier Division campaign.

The Blues, or 'The Minty Army' as they are now known by many, have started the new campaign by scoring 25 goals in 3 league and cup matches, conceding 0.

An opening day 5-0 victory over Cheltenham Town at Westleigh Park was followed by an 11-0 rout away at Ashford Town in the FA WNL Cup and a 9-0 win at home to Cardiff City Ladies last Sunday (September 3rd).

Jake Smith, host of The Football Hour on Express FM, spoke to gaffer Jay Sadler on Friday afternoon to discuss his side's emphatic start to the season and preview Sunday's trip to unbeaten Hashtag United

Kick-off at Parkside in Essex for Hashtag United vs Pompey Women on Sunday (September 10th) is 3pm.
