Football Hour host Jake Smith sat down with Portsmouth FC head coach John Mousinho in midweek to look ahead to Sunday's FA Cup First Round clash with Chesterfield.

On Thursday afternoon at Pompey's training facility on Copnor Road, Jake caught up with the head coach of the men's senior team, John Mousinho, to gather an insight into what's going through his mind ahead of Sunday's FA Cup First Round tie with National League leaders Chesterfield, managed by former Portsmouth boss Paul Cook.

"Everybody loves the competition, certainly at this level I think there's a real affinity for the competition, obviously the football club has got a real recent history in terms of winning it.

"Everybody I think in and around football has recognised that, you know, this fixture certainly has some added spice to the whole occasion.

"We had the scan on his (Conor Ogilvie) ankle - It's going to be 6-8 weeks. It's not as bad as we first feared."
