Portsmouth Football Club CEO Andy Cullen speaks with Express FM's Jake Smith following the postponement of the Blues' Championship encounter with Millwall at Fratton Park.
The game on Wednesday (November 27th) night was called off almost an hour after kick-off was scheduled due to an unprecedented power outage at Fratton Park.
Floodlights failed somewhat 10 minutes before kick-off, at approximately 19:35 and the stadium was left in near-darkness for around 45 minutes with only half of the North Stand advertising boards and the North Stand upper lights still working.
After nearly an hour of confusion and anticipation, the decision was made to abandon any idea of the game being played, despite most lights having come back on just after 8:30pm.
Club chief executive Andy Cullen provided full details of the postponement, including a timeline of events from his perspective to Jake Smith shortly after the announcement was made at Fratton Park:
Hear even more reaction to the postponement of the Millwall fixture, as well as a preview of Pompey's trip to Swansea City on Saturday when The Football Hour returns on Friday (November 29th) evening from 6pm!
