Our Changing Streets Community Walk

Meet at 10.15am outside the Kings Theatre, Albert Road for a short (1.6 miles) leisurely-paced walk organised by Portsmouth Friends of the Earth to support Portsmouth's 100th anniversary.

The linear route ends at Castle Road where there are several places for refreshments. We will pause at various locations on route to focus on two changes over the the past 100 years that have made a significant impact on our street environments - the increase in motor traffic and the decrease in insects and birds.

As well as identifying the effects of these changes, the walk will highlight positive ideas for further action.
