With thanks to author Neil Allen, Express FM is giving away a copy of his new publication, Played Up Pompey 4, the fourth instalment of the series.
We are also giving away 2x tickets to the launch event of the book in the newly-refurbished Victory Lounge at Fratton Park on Friday the 27th of September, where special guests such as Harry Redknapp, Gareth Evans and Danny Rose will be making an appearance to meet and greet supporters, as well as sign copies of the book.
There will be TWO lucky winners drawn - one winner of the book and one winner of launch event tickets.
"Played Up Pompey Four contains fresh interviews with 23 individuals whose immense contributions between 1963 and 2020, have left an incredible mark on a truly special football club. These are their stories; unfettered, unrestricted and uninhibited; lifting the lid on dressing room life and providing supporters with fascinating insights - and often blunt truth." ~ Neil Allen, author and Chief Sports Writer at The News
The book, published by Vertical Editions, contains detailed stories from former Blues players such as Teddy Sheringham, Sol Campbell, Jamal Lowe and Brett Pitman, with a foreword by FA Cup winning manager Harry Redknapp too.
Released in August in stores and to pre-ordering subscribers, 'Played Up Pompey 4' is a 270 page hardback which contains high resolution images alongside the former players' extracts.
To be in with a chance of winning one of these two amazing prizes, all you have to do is answer the following Pompey question correctly...
