It’s MarshyCast time!
A little bonus episode this week — I wasn’t expecting to be on air, but long story short… I was! Hurrah! Don’t forget, you can also catch my weekday shows on Express FM and HGV1 Radio, plus more interviews on the Portsmouth People and with Casey Major Bunce aka Major Mum Hacks podcasts — all the links are on my socials.
On this week’s show:
I caught up with comedian Paul Chowdhry, who’s currently on his Englandia tour. We chatted about what it’s like to sell out the O2 Arena, how performing comedy in a huge arena compares to the smaller, more intimate shows, and why his tour has gone so well he’s had to add extra dates. Paul also reflected on 25 years in comedy, the changes he’s seen, plus the fantastic shape he’s in — including his hilarious 'ab-off' with Chris Eubank Jr!
I also spoke to chef Asma Khan about her new TV show Secrets of the Curry Kitchen on the Food Network. Asma shared why 'Indian' isn’t actually a dish, why we should all slow down and savour the cooking process, and the incredible women who’ve been cooking alongside her for years. And yes, I had to ask — she revealed her guilty pleasure after a long shift in the kitchen!
Thanks for tuning in, as always — and if you’ve made it this far, I salute you! Like, share, subscribe, and I’ll be back next week with more.
