 🎙️ It’s The MarshyCast Time! 🎙️

Well, here we go—what a week it’s been! It’s been so packed that this is a bumper edition of The MarshyCast, split into two parts dropping on the same day. That means double the guests, double the fun—so whether you listen to both or just the one that grabs your interest, you’re in for a treat!

Before we dive in, a quick reminder: You can catch my Portsmouth-based interviews on the Portsmouth People Podcast via Express FM, plus my podcast with Casey Major Bunce is also available there. And of course, my live radio shows are on Express FM & HGV1 Radio throughout the week. Now, enough of the yada yada—let’s get into it!

PART 1

🏆 Graeme Souness & Tom Lockyer 🏆
Two football legends—Graeme Souness and Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer—join me to talk about their cardiac health journeys and their campaign with the British Heart Foundation, encouraging everyone to take a 15-minute online course. They’re also part of an epic 4000km relay race around all 72 EFL stadiums!

I also asked Graeme on Liverpool’s situation with Trent Alexander-Arnold and whether he’d ever consider returning to Rangers. As for Tom, we discussed Luton’s season and their experiences playing at Fratton Park

🎸 Paul Rappaport – Music Industry Legend 🎸
I spoke with former Columbia Records VP Paul Rappaport about his incredible autobiography, Gliders Over Hollywood. Expect unbelievable stories about Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, and more! We also talked about how a little bit of luck can change the entire music industry, why classic bands are having a resurgence, and of course—a few legendary pranks

PART 2

🎭 Steven LaMorte – Screamboat 🎭
The writer/director of the new comedy-horror film Screamboat joins me to talk about how he turned Steamboat Willie into a slasher flick after Disney’s rights expired! We also chatted about the hilarious creative process, working with the fantastic David Howard Thornton, and why this film is an absolute riot

😂 Nabil Abdulrashid – Comedy & Parenting Chaos 😂
Comedian Nabil Abdulrashid and I bonded over parenting struggles, including how we never realised just how bad 80s movies were for kids. We also chatted about his tour name, life in a Nigerian household, and what audiences can expect from his stand-up show

🎤 Carli Norris – Menopause The Musical 2 🎤
You might know Carli Norris from EastEnders, Hollyoaks, and more, but right now, she’s touring in Menopause The Musical 2! We had a brilliant chat about:
💃 What it’s really like going through menopause (for women and men!)
🎭 The fun of touring with an all-female cast
😂 Why men are secretly loving the show too

🏆 If you made it through this entire blurb, I SALUTE YOU! 🏆 You, my friend, have the stamina of a champion and should consider running for Leader of the Free World

As always, catch me live on Express FM & HGV1 Radio, follow me on socials, and check out my other podcasts. See you next week for more!
