Gunwharf Quays Blossoms Into Life With Floral Displays and Summer Lounge

Spinnaker Tower set to light up yellow to mark the official unveiling of the floral displays and summer lounge

An array of stunning floral displays and a relaxing summer lounge has officially blossomed into life at Gunwharf Quays and will be officially launched with the lighting up of the Spinnaker Tower.

With summer on the horizon and the weather improving, a yellow-themed summer lounge and an array of floral displays have bloomed at the outlet, designed to provide a creative backdrop and inspire moments for guests while shopping.

Created by Kit & Caboodle and Shilpa Reddy Flowers Designs, the stunning exhibits are set to be on display for guests to enjoy throughout the summer months until 2 nd September. To officially mark the launch of the displays, the Spinnaker Tower will be lit up in bright yellow from 12 th – 16 th June.

Visitors to Gunwharf Quays can capture picture perfect moments in front of an arrangement of stunning eye-catching displays all bursting with flowers, including a traditional telephone box, oversized flowerpots and a classic VW campervan which will be selling prosecco each
day.

In addition, a summer lounge has also sprung up at the outlet in Central Square, providing guests with a well-earned picturesque chill out space to relax and enjoy at their leisure.

The outlet is putting a call out for local artisan businesses, choirs, musicians and performers to step into the spotlight and help bring the garden to life with music, entertainment and local artisan markets. Interested groups or businesses are being invited to register their interest by emailing outletmarketing@landsec.com.

Yvonne Clay, Centre Director for Gunwharf Quays, said: “With spring in full bloom, and summer on its way, we wanted to offer an opportunity for our guests to re-engage with friends and family and enjoy some floral fun, which is exactly what we hope Blossoming at Gunwharf Quays will bring. Our aim is to provide the perfect destination for our guests to flourish, whether that’s being inspired by the yellow colours from the floral installations or enjoying spending time relaxing with friends and family and appreciating the calm oasis.

“We’re also delighted to open up the summer lounge to the public to utilise and look forward to welcoming a wide array of local businesses and performers to Gunwharf Quays over the summer months.”

Guests to Gunwharf Quays can also enjoy over 90 incredible outlet stores offering a blend of high-end women’s and men’s fashion stores, childrenswear, shoes and accessories, sportswear, homewares and lifestyle and beauty stores, all offering up to 60% off regular retail prices, as well as take a break in any of the cafes and restaurants.
