The 28-year-old left-back has signed for an undisclosed fee from League One outfit Rotherham United.
Bramall signs a deal until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Speaking to club media, John Mousinho said: "We're delighted to bring in another player who has plenty of experience competing at this level of the game.
"We now have real competition in the left-back position and I can't wait to get started working with Cohen."
