Football Returns to Express FM!

Liam Howes, Jake Smith and Ryan Stillwell are back this weekend to commence coverage of Pompey's 2020/21 season.

It all kicks off on Friday night with the return of The Football Hour, hosted by Jake and back in the usual time-slot of 6pm!

The lads had entertained throughout the lockdown period after the 2019/20 season was curtailed, with weekly shows live from their bedrooms, living rooms and sheds.

Express FM is pleased, however to announce the return of regular scheduling for the Pompey Live team, with Friday's match preview to be broadcast live from the station for the first time in over 5 months!

Football Hour host Jake Smith will be joined by familiar faces Sam Carter and Ryan Honey for the inaugural show of the campaign, which is focusing on Saturday's Carabao Cup First-Round trip to Stevenage.

For the time being, guests will be joining Jake over Skype call, due to COVID-19 restrictions still in place on site.

From the 14th of September, the Monday edition of The Football Hour will also be making its return.

Would YOU like to get involved with the show? Simply Text EXPRESS + your message to 81400, Email pompey@expressfm.com or send us a Tweet @ExpressFM! Jake is keen to hear your score predictions ahead of Saturday's game, your expectations for the upcoming league season and where you believe Kenny needs to strengthen within his squad, before the summer transfer window ends.
