It's been quite the year for John Mousinho. He started 2023 as an Oxford United player, featuring irregularly for the U's, and not knowing quite when his playing career would end.
The answer, came just a couple of weeks later, when the man from Isleworth was confirmed as the new Head Coach of Portsmouth Football Club's mens side. In the nearly 12 months that have followed, the 37 year old has been responsible for Pompey's record streak of 27 unbeaten league matches, as well as seeing The Blues confirmed as top of League One at Christmas.
