Fresh off the back of a spellbinding performance at A Night of Bowie, Fast Trains return for their own headline show on Friday 17th April.

Tom brings the full band to the Wedge to showcase new material, alongside songs from their highly praised debut album, 'Escape to ourWorld'

Fast Trains are an alternative band from Portsmouth, England led by songwriter/producer, Tom Wells. A modern take on heroes like XTC, Radiohead and Elbow, their thoughtful yet accessible music has led to international songwriting awards, rousing festival performances, national support tours, and a wealth of radio play from BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.

Since releasing debut album Escape to ourWorld in January 2025, Fast Trains have grown into an electrifying live act, combining their rich, anthemic sound with intense dynamics and crafting moments that live long in the memory.
