Portsmouth library members can enjoy special offers around the city when they show their library card.
These range from discounts on local attractions, travel, restaurants and shops to free access to magazines, books and other online services.
Library card holders can get 20% discount on Hovertravel tickets, 20% off 'All-Attraction' tickets to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, 25% discount off Spinnaker Tower entry and £2 off standard admission to the Blue Reef Aquarium.
A library card will also get you 20% off at Mozzarella Joes, 10% off at Blossoms the florists and free swimming for children under 12 at Mountbatten Centre, Eastney Swimming Pool and Charter Community Sports Centre.
Library cards have many other benefits too - you can use them to access free music online, download comics and electronic magazines like Cosmopolitan, National Geographic and Total Film. You can also choose from a supply of eBooks and audiobooks, access online resources such as the Oxford Dictionary and Britannica Online Encyclopaedia and use them to borrow and return books in any of the ten libraries across the city.
