The Rainbow Centre are delighted to announce our annual Burns Night event that is happening again this year, this event was a sell out in 2019 and we expect the same in 2020 with it being an extra special this year as we are celebrating the centre’s 30th Anniversary.
Tickets are available on our website which includes:
- Tot of whisky
- Address to the Haggis
- Two Course meal plus coffee
- Woodsiders Ceilidh Band
- Ceilidh Dancing
Come and enjoy an evening with all traditional formalities including the piping in, toasting and addressing of the haggis. You will be served a traditional haggis (or vegetarian) with mash potato, mash swede, bowls of veg with plenty of gravy followed by a sharing cheese board, tea, coffee and shortbread. There will also be a raffle where you will have a chance to win some great prizes such as a hamper.
After dinner you will have a chance to enjoy live music from the Woodsiders Ceilidh Band and also have a chance to take part and learn a traditional Scottish dance where their caller will walk you through each traditional Scottish dance. This will definitely be the highlight of the night as you try and learn the steps; you will leave the evening having had some great laughs and amazing memories.
