Annual antidote for the romantically averse
Back for another year, local storytellers, poets, singer-songwriters bring fresh tales of doomed love, lust, betrayal and revenge to two performance events as part of Portsmouth BookFest 2018.St Valentine's Day Massacre on Tuesday 13 February 7pm to 9.30pm at the historic Square Tower, Broad Street, Old Portsmouth. Entrance £8 for a night of twisted tales, songs and poems of romance, revenge and bleeding hearts. Refreshments available, but "No sugar sweet love stories allowed," advise the event organisers. "Surrender all bouquets and chocolates at the door. All welcome, except those troublemakers, Venus and Cupid!"
