Portsmouth’s community radio station, Express FM, is seeking volunteers to help produce its daytime shows.

Tasks include editing audio, booking guests, pre-recording items, researching features, compiling promos, writing scripts, updating website and social media for the weekday breakfast and midmorning programmes which are music-led and feature interviews, competitions and local information.

No previous radio knowledge or experience is necessary, though a keen interest and desire to learn is essential.

As are most at Express FM, this role is unpaid and is based at studios in Portsmouth City centre, a short walk from Portsmouth & Southsea railway station and city centre bus stops.

Please fill out the form to give us an idea of what type of volunteering you may be interested in. Thank you.
